1. Products

All plants are living organisms: variations in colour, shape, and size are natural. Product photos are indicative only.

We don’t sell identical clones unless stated: what you receive will be the species or cultivar described but not necessarily the exact plant pictured.

2. Out-of-Stock Items and Substitutes

We always strive for our website stock levels to be accurate to ensure the best customer experience. However, the nature of our business means that our stock levels are frequently changing, and whilst uncommon, items in your order can be out of stock. Below is a breakdown of what happens in these situations.

For products with in-stock substitutions of the same or higher value

Out-of-stock products with multiple variants will be upgraded to the next most valuable product size/type. Mid-cuts will be substituted for top cuts, but top-cuts will never be substituted for mid-cuts. Cuttings will never be substituted for a different species unless discussed with the customer. Examples below:

• A 20-25cm mid-cut may be substituted for a 20-25cm top-cut or larger, or a 30-35cm mid-cut or larger.

• A 30-35cm top-cut may be substituted for a 35-40cm top-cut or larger.

• A 100mm golden barrel may be substituted for a 200mm golden barrel.

For these types of substitutions/upgrades, you will not be contacted. If a suitable substitute is not available as outlined above, you will be contacted with an alternative solution which may include product substitution or a refund.

For products with no in-stock substitutions

For products with no substitutions, such as the most valuable variant in a product you will be contacted via your order contact details to discuss your prefered options. We will always attempt to call you, and if we cannot reach you we will email. You will be offered a product substitution with similar or greater value at no additional cost. Alternatively, we can provide a full refund and cancel the order.

3. Pricing & Payment

All prices are in AUD and include GST unless otherwise noted. Orders must be paid in full at checkout using our supported payment methods.

We reserve the right to change pricing at any time without notice, but confirmed orders will be honoured at the price you paid.

4. Shipping & Delivery

We ship within Australia only. Orders are dispatched via Australia Post or, on rare occasions via courier, depending on size and destination.

Shipping times may vary depending on your location, weather conditions and courier performance but are typically received the same week as dispatch to most areas of Australia.

5. Refunds & Returns

We sell living plants and degradable products, so our returns policy reflects that. We do not offer change-of-mind refunds once orders are dispatched, but we do guarantee safe delivery. For full details on damaged items, seed exceptions, and electrical products, see our Refunds & Returns Policy.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website—including product photos, descriptions, branding, and educational articles—is the property of Cactus Culture Australia. You may not reproduce or use our material commercially without permission.

7. Liability

We are not responsible for injury, damage, or loss resulting from the misuse of our products. Cacti can be hazardous if handled incorrectly (e.g. spines, latex, ingestion). You are responsible for safe handling and placement of any cactus or product purchased.

8. Privacy

We only collect data necessary to process orders and provide customer support. We do not share or sell your information to third parties.
