We have a few distinct different varieties of this species: for example some with short spines, some with long spines – we have included photos to demonstrate the beautiful variety of these forms. These seed packets include a mix of all the different forms.
These seeds have been harvested from 20-30-year-old mother plants in Queensland, Australia.
Germination rates have been observed to be around 70-90%. We cannot offer any guarantees on germination rates as it is very dependent on individual setups and processes.
We have also written a full guide on the subject of growing cacti from seed which you can find here.
Looking for Peruvian Torch (Echinopsis peruviana) cuttings instead? You can find those here.
