Echinocactus grusonii is an iconic and well known cactus that goes by the common name “Golden Barrel”. True to its name, it forms into a beautiful golden ball. A hardy plant tolerant of a wide range of conditions and climates, it germinates readily and is typically considered one of the easier cactus species to propagate from seed.
These seeds have been harvested from 20-30-year-old mother plants in Queensland, Australia.
Germination rates have been observed to be around 70-90%.
